The hotel complex of Pràcatinat Hotel & Restaurant was built by the Agnelli family in the 1930s with the function of a sanatorium for the treatment of tuberculosis

Over the years, this famous complex near Pragelato, Oulx and Sestriere, has been transformed into a modern/suitable hotel complex, particularly suitable for training and educational trips and for welcoming travelers from all over the world in search of recreation, relaxation, nature and free time.

Pràcatinat Hotel & Restaurant is located in the heart of the Alpi Cozie Natural Park, at an altitude of 1785 meters, in the heart of the Orsiera Rocciavrè naturalistic area and thanks to a restructuring intervention, today it has been used as an exclusive structure for mountain tourism, business stays / work stays with meetings and conferences, SPA, restaurant and Lounge bar with panoramic terrace.

The recent restyling has given back to the old spaces dedicated to guests, that imprint that brings the hotel back to the ancient splendor of those beautiful 30’s, without sacrificing the sense of comfort and relaxation like rooms with a view, free wifi, private parking, American bar, panoramic restaurant and private transfer service with driver that connects the hotel to the train station of Oulx Sestriere, Pragelato, ski slopes and the airports.

This impressive accommodation facility overlooks the Cottian Alps and the Fenestrelle Fortress and is surrounded by several hectares of forest planted with tall Scots pines and larches, crossed by streams, streams and ponds and is inhabited by many species of wild animals including chamois, roe deer, squirrels, wild boars, birds of prey, reptiles, foxes and for the more fortunate the Italian wolf.

During the soujurn at Pràcatinat Hotel & Restaurant, will be offered to our customers excursion opportunities between the Orsiera, Cristalliera, Rocciavrè, Albergian mountains and the Jouglard and Chardonnet lakes. Moreover, thanks to the favorable position and the particular mountain scenery enjoyed, Pràcatinat Hotel & Restaurant has become over the years also the departure destination for motorcyclists and cycle tourists, interested in the numerous mountain passes, such as Colle dell’Assietta and Colle delle Finestre. 
During the winter season the Vialattea ski slopes that connect Sestriere, Oulx and Pragelato (setting of the Turin 2006 Olympics) are easily reachable (in about 30 minutes by car). 

For companies and groups, the hotel provides spaces and conference rooms suitable for educational activities, training, business, meetings, retreats of sport groups and activities related to all those associations that need to organize seminars and conferences in a place particulary suitable to accommodate a large number of people.
